Why is the Rider search feature, except comment, not working in VB.NET?

I have been using Rider for C#, and the search feature "Except comment" successfully matches the search string in non-commented lines. However, the same feature does not seem to work for VB.NET. Is there any solution to this issue? Please let me know.
