Cannot create MSTest project - .net framework
Hello,
I am currently evaluating rider as a replacement for visual studio.
When I am trying to add a new unit test project MSTest is only available for .net/core projects but not for .net framework.
The selection only contains NUnit/xUnit for .net framework.
I tried enabling VSTest adapter support but that didn't help.
Is there no support for MSTest projects for .net framework?
As far as I understand there should be MSTest support although apparently you'll need a visual studio license for that which basically defeats the purpose of switching to another IDE but that's another discussion I guess.

Hello Mweikert,
Thank you for contacting Rider support.
Regrettably, Rider doesn't allow creating a .NET Framework MSTest project, but Rider does support it (see documentation).

While it is not implemented, you need to create such a project outside of Rider. Apologies for the inconvenience
