AI Assistance beta access is different depending on location through same account?
I guess this isn't Rider-specific but it's the product I'm using.
This week I started using AI Assistant at the office in Rider and Resharper. I was granted instant access after installing it.
To my surprise, while trying to work from home today, I installed AI Assistant in Rider and upon logging in I get an Authentication Successful message in the browser but it won't load in Rider and reports that I'm on the waiting list and will receive an email when invited. I have my invite email. I can still access AI Assistant by remoting into my office workstation.
The only difference between the two are physical location, operating system, and default browser. My office workstation is Windows 10 with Edge and my home desktop is Linux with Firefox. It doesn't seem like a feature that would be locked to Windows.
I've tried the following:
1. Removed and reinstalled Toolbox and Rider as they had been migrated from the old flatpack format.
2. Logged out, deleted JetBrains config and cache directories then logged back in.
3. Set Chromium as the default browser and used that for the Login to JetBrains AI prompt.
Is this just not available on Linux? Seems like if so it should have a descriptive message instead of saying I'm on a waiting list on one PC while working on another.

Hi Chris!
Indeed, we have a limited number of places to access AI Assistance, which we will gradually expand. However, there are no OS differences. Isn't it possible that you're logged in to different JetBrains accounts on your office and home machines?
Hi, Alexandra.
It looks like it's some browser communication bug with the log in. It is not working on any browser where I've previously logged into my personal JetBrains account, even if I change accounts. Firefox and Chromium wouldn't work while confirmed that I was logged into the correct account via the website. I set a fresh install of Chrome with no cache or cookies as my default browser and used that with the "Log in to AI Assistant" link from Rider and it worked on my home machine.
Hi Chris!
I'm happy to hear that the issue was solved. We weren't able to reproduce it on our side. Please let us know if it happens again so we can try to troubleshoot the issue.
Thanks!
