Is there a way to disable double cmd from showing Tool Window Bars?

Somehow double taping cmd causes the Tool Window Bar to show up.

It disappears after releasing the cmd key.

However that's annoying as the screen flickers when it does that.

I have the Tool Window Bar's shortcut set to cmd + shift + T, but it still pops up on double cmd.

Is there anyway to disable it?

Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rider support.

We are sorry to hear that you have run into such a problem. To be on the same page, would you mind confirming the Tool Window Bar you mean is the one shown on the screenshot?

Also, we would appreciate it if you could share your settings (File | Manage IDE Settings | Export Settings) with me, so that I could reproduce the issue and take a deeper look.
Please upload it to the Upload service and let me know the Upload ID.

Thank you in advance and have a nice day!

It's actually these 2 sidebard that appears after hitting cmd twice.

The same bar appears if you do View > Appearance > Tool Window Bars

Sure, here's the exported upload id: 2023_09_04_x7nPJWLkvpsoTB4ALS5cpY

Hello,

Thank you for the clarification.

Regrettably, there is no way to disable this specific shortcut (Cmd+Cmd). However, there is an option to disable all the double modifier shortcuts at once:

Hope that helps.

Should you have any other questions or difficulties, please let me know.
Have a nice day!

This double CMD to display the tool window bars is very, very, very annoying! In my case, it bothers when I'm using DataGrip. It activates all the time without my intention, making the buttons to show up quickly enough to drive me crazy.
