Rider is acting just like a plain text editor, and isn't matching indents, brackets, autocompleting, etc. when working with a Unity project
I'm using Rider along with Unity in MacOS, and it was working fine for me before but I recently had to wipe my computer and reinstall everything. Now when trying to edit .cs files I might as well just be using a notepad. It doesn't try to match indents, after pressing enter, no matter the context, it will bring me to the beginning of the next line. It doesn't try to autocomplete anything, it doesn't underline any errors.
The only other similar issue I've found is here, but I tried both solutions and neither fixed my issues: https://rider-support.jetbrains.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360010059320--Resolved-RIDER-2020-02-04-Rider-doesn-t-autocomplete-anything-from-Unity
I'm using version 2023.2.2

I found the solution. I needed to install the Jetbrains Rider Editor package inside of Unity.
