How to make indent guides appear dashed and aligned properly to the braces?
This is what my current rider settings look like:

How might I go about achieving that?
The misalignment in Rider is making my OCD act out a bit :-)

Unfortunately, at the moment it is not possible to turn off this indent guide. You may want to subscribe to the issue with the ID RIDER-88819. Either upvote the issue or press the Watch button to receive updates on the issue's state.

Anna Morozyuk thanks for looking in to this.
apparantly vs doesn't have "indent guides". instead it has something called "structure guide lines", which is a dottet line joining the opening and closing braces. this is what i want to have in rider. but it doesn't look like rider can do that. it just has "indent guide lines" which is just a solid line indicating the code indentation, which i don't really care for. i'd rather have what VS has.
so i guess it should be considered a new feature request yes?
