Rider cant rename files, rename prompt not showing

Hello, the rename prompt not showing so i cant rename files *.cs that i made my own.. but i strangely enough the prompt is showing when renaming *.cs migration files, folder, project, and solution.

 

i have reinstall and deleted jetbrain folder at %appdata% but this issue still persist. please help.

I've double-checked on my side and cannot reproduce the issue your described. We need some more information to be able to process the case. 

  • Could you please add a screencast of how the rename looks for you? 
  • Do you use shortcut or call it via context menu? 
  • What is the type of your project? 
  • What is your OS? 
  • Do you use Remote Development?
