What can I do to avoid all that ugly underlining of strings? (Jetbrains Rider)


Did you hover over the string to read what Rider wants you to do? Since those are SQL strings, I bet Rider is trying to interpret/parse the SQL and wants you to configure a database connection so it can validate the columns and tables exist. If you don't want to do any of that, you can probably disable SQL inspection through one of the links or actions in the tooltip.

You can check the inspections in Context Menu (Alt+Enter when the cursor is on the underlying part), for each inspections you can select “Why is Rider suggesting this?” so that you can follow the instructions to resolve it.
