Support for Claude Sonnet 3.5 in AI assistant

I have switched to Claude Sonnet 3.5 for my professional usage and was wondering if there are any plans on making it possible to include Anthropic Claude as part of the Jetbrains AI Assistant ?

It seems that LLMs are evolving at rapid space and that different people are having personal preferences for which LLM to use.
So maybe a Jetbrains AI Assistent product where you can bring your own AI Key as well ?

Thank you for your suggestion.
Currently, AI Assistant uses OpenAI's GPT models: https://www.jetbrains.com/legal/docs/terms/jetbrains-ai/service-providers/.
Other providers and models will be integrated in time - e.g. Google Gemini is planned to be implemented in coming months. As for Claude models, we have a feature request on our issue tracker: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/LLM-2402
Please vote to increase its popularity and follow for progress updates.

Also, there is an AI Assistant offering for enterprises - AI Enterprise. As part of this solution, there are plans to allow customers to use their own implementations of LLM models hosted on their infrastructure - on premises (kind of bring your own AI model). This feature is currently planned for the beginning of 2025. and will be available only to organizations, not individual users.
