We're currently working on .net core RC2 support for ReSharper 2016.2, which will start EAP very soon. Once ReSharper has it, Rider builds will inherit it, although we will still need to update Rider specific functionality, such as new project templates and run/debug configurations. Support will come in future Rider EAP builds.
