.net host going bonkers using SDK 9

I don't know what is going on. I upgraded my blazor project to .net 9. I updated my ide to version 2024.3
Not even compiling the project, I was running out of memory / cpu faster than my battery can keep. I open task mananger and observe the .NET host is running at 13gb! .. and climbing! I kill the .net host and it now comes back to around 306mb. What is possibly going on here? I have deleted my roaming folder to 2024.3. I have invalided caches. Again. I just open the project. Not even running it. This cannot continue. I have none of these issues running it in Visual Studio. My heap is the default 2048. Not even using the app is cranking 13% of my cpu.

Hello.

Thank you for contacting Rider support.

We are sorry to hear that you experience such an issue.

Would you mind sharing more details what that is this .NET Host process? To be more specific, check its command line and share it.

Also, I would appreciate it if you could share:

  • a memory dump of that .NET Host process (using the ProcessExplorer tool);
  • Rider backend memory snapshot (Help > Diagnostic Tools > Capture Backend Memory Snapshot);
  • Rider frontend memory snapshot (Help > Diagnostic Tools > Capture Memory Snapshot);

Please, upload it to the Upload Service and let me know the Upload ID.

Have a nice day!

The .dmp file is 9gb in size. I hope you can get me some answers. I have turned off solution analysis and roselyn analyzers in an attempt to try to work. It seems to reduce the memory imprint slightly.
