Temporarily move solution explorer root

I have a workflow where I try to divide my systems into plugins, sometimes I'm exclusively working in a particular plugin but it's so deeply nested that it's insane especially for the amount of actual files in the plugin. Is there a way to temporarily set the root of the solution explorer to a specific folder? I'd be really nice to add if it's not already a thing.
