Rider with MAUI on MacOS - Errors

I am trying to set up a default project on MacOS with Rider. I would like to try out the MAUI platform, however I run into some errors.

Here are the steps I have taken:

After the project is created I run into errors with a number of configurations.

I have installed openjdk via brew, and xcode appears to be installed - so I am unsure why this is not working. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
