Rider XAML Viewer Error Messages

Hi Team,
 

  • Could somebody help me please?

    I have now the latest 2024.3 installed on my system and opened a solution that built without any errors in VS22 17.3 Comm Ed., displayed XAMLs at designtime without any issues, however, when I built it in JBR the UserControls are not being displayed at all. The main window previewer flags the warning icon and when I click on it it displays the error messages below, shown in the screenshot.


    I have tried everything I could think of:
  • Cleared the cache
  • msbuild /t:Rebuild /v:diag > build.log                                                                    
  • msbuild /t:Clean /t:Rebuild   
  • Fiddled with the project settings to ensure the same version of MSBuild is used
  • Enabled/Disabled Rider build
  • Scanned all the files in the solution that might be causing these errors
  • Got JBR AI to look into to no avail
  • :(

Hi Reuben! 

I'm sorry to hear you faced such an issue. I wasn't able to reproduce it so far. Could you please attach the sample project, where the issue can be seen, if it is possible, or provide some steps to reproduce the problem?

Also, logs would be quite helpful here. You can collect them from Help -> Collect Logs and Troubleshooting data. Then upload all the data to our server and share the Upload ID.
