Azure Toolkit for Rider - Unable to find valid certification path to requested target.

Hi,

I am trying to use the toolkit in Rider 2025.1.  I signin with the OAuth 2 option and the browser confirms “Authentication complete. You can close the browser and return to the application.”  However, in the Rider IDE, following notification appears.

Azure: Failed to load subscriptions. Unable to find valid certification path to requested target.
Call Stack:
● Load subscriptions
● Reload subscriptions
● Login with (OAUTH2)
● Sign in to Azure

I have enterprise ultimate subscription and I love Jetbrains IDEs but this feature for Azure cloud is a huge gap for me.  So could you please help resolve this issue?

Hi Anna Morozyuk ,

I have determined the issue.  Basically the issue was due to my enterprise infosec policies.  However, I have another issue where I need help.  As you can imagine, in an enteprise there are multiple subscription which the Azure Toolkit supports to select but within the subscription there are tons of Resource Groups that the toolkit doesn't allow to select and support.  A user doesn't have access to all the resource groups and because of that, I'm the toolkit is useless due to getthing access related errors.  Is there anything you can suggest to resolve that?
