Failed to build RiderLink plugin

Hello, I'm having issues install RiderLink with JetBrains Rider 2025.1 into UE5.5.4. Seemingly the installation tool, possibly Unreal Build Tool, failed to build some component. The log is below.

 It looks like you have encountered a known issue
 
Could you try:

  • verifying your engine installation (please note that it might take some time)
  • reopening your project in Rider
  • installing the plugin into the game project via Settings | Languages & Frameworks | Unreal Engine -> Install RiderLink in Game

And let me know if the issue persists?

This did fix the immediate problem, is there any solution that installs the plugin to the engine rather than a singular project?

Did you try installing RiderLink to the engine upon successful installation to the Game?

Is there still the same error?
