Dialog box appearing all the time on reboot ...

Hey all

I have Rider on macOS Sequoia (ARM M4) and every time I go to start the project in run/debug it keeps prompting me for this – This only happens when the machine has either started up first time or from a restart. Once I type the password in it won't prompt me – So I can close open many times – but as soon as I restart the mac and start the project in run/debug again, this prompt will re-appear again.

This is really annoying that this happens all the time when the machine is rebooted. Is this normal behaviour?? I'm thinking once I've allowed this, it shouldn't keep re-appearing on re-boot.

Thank you for contacting Rider support. 

This is probably related to macOS development security settings. To stop this from happening, try executing the following commands:

sudo DevToolsSecurity -enable;
sudo dscl . -append /Groups/_developer GroupMembership $(whoami)

Hello Nik,

This is a macOS security feature and cannot be entirely fixed from the product side. However, ensuring that developer permissions are properly configured on the machine should minimize these prompts.

Did invoking the above commands resolve the issue for you?
