How to stop the insanity PLEASE. AI screen takeover

good lord.. This thing is driving me up the f@#$ing wall. 
given.. I am typing code happily minding my business. 
given - I press tab to autocomplete my object name for example) 

example 
‘var results  = MyMethod(so..(tab is pressed) ’
then - this abomination of a helper pops up
then - it takes over my typing
then  - it rewrites my code to the shittiest implementation possible
then - I have to say STOP. 
then - I try again.. 
then - it starts again. 

Please.. for the love of god. HOW DO I DISABLE THIS HORRENDOUS FEATURE. 
I like my ai when i can tell my ai.. hey AI figure this out. 
I do not want to disable the ai chat portion. 
I want to take a flamethrower to this take over screen
