Rider doesn't discover tests

Hi.

I'm on Rider 2025.2.4, running on Windows 11 (qemu vm), used with the Remote Development thingie on the host Ubuntu. I use NUnit 3.14.0 in my solution.

I have two main questions:

First question: where are my tests?!

My problem is that Rider discovers tests only when it's restarted. When it does that, it also restores all the test sessions I've closed earlier, alongside the “Explorer” tab with all the tests.

Yes yes, “just rebuild the solution”. I've heard that. Yet, it never restores the tests.

I need this to be a bit more reliable. Any solutions for this? I want all the available tests to be there _always_, not just lol whenever

Second question: Are these docs stale?

For example, the instructions in the Rider docs about how to rename a session show something like this:
