Error message deploying to Android device

i've got a maui app using Rider in macbook. When I run the app to an android simulator or device, the app builds but gives me the following error: 'void com.jetbrains.rider.model.XamarinAndroidDeploymentArgs. (boolean, java.lang.String, java.lang.String, java.lang.String, boolean, boolean, java.lang.String, com.jetbrains.rider.model.RunnableProjectKind, java.lang.String)'.

I have created new simulators, updated Rider, Rider Android Support plugin, workloads, etc and didn't help. What is the issue?

Hello Habib,

Thank you for reporting the issue. I suppose you are running into this known issue: RIDER-133255 Debugging Android App created with MAUI fails

A couple of developers confirmed that updating Rider to 2025.3.0.3 solved the issue for them. Would you mind trying to update Rider and see if that helps?

I was on 2025.3.0.2 and experiencing this problem this morning on my macOS machine. Updating to 2025.3.0.3 resolved the issue for me.
