I think Rider is clobbering my domain credentials

I believe that Rider is clobbering my windows LDAP credentials in our corporate environment.  

I will have to do a more thorough analysis, but it will have to wait until I can lose an hour of work time.  In the meantime, here is what happens - 

I use Rider for some development work.  At some point either during this time or just after I close the application, I lose the ability to log in to all of my company resources.  My access to our Artifactory store, internal GitLab server, and Windows itself all get interrupted.  If during this time I log off my computer, my account gets locked for somewhere around 30 minutes until the lock times out. 

I'm not in IT, and I have no particular expertise in this area, but I was wondering if this kind of problem rings any bells for anyone.  My confidence right now is high that Rider is the culprit.  This is an issue that others in the organization have had when they leave themselves logged in to an account on another PC and then change their password, but this is not the case for me.
