Code Analysis blocks most rider code highlight functions while running

Sometimes Rider launches solution wide code-analysis without me prompting it.

The problems stems that while it does so, and until it completes (which takes hours sometimes), I cannot use some basic features. Nothing is highligted anywhere, no errors and warnings, no passive code highlights. I can still use code completion, which is the most important part, and intellisense, but let's just say that "quality of life" while coding is severely impacted during that time.

Is there a way to stop analysis and re-enable those functions, and let the solution wide-analysis complete another time?
