EF Core Query becomes extremely slow when attached rider debugger.

Answered

When used Entity.Include(anotherEntity) of EF Core, Query build becomes extremely slow only when attached Rider debugger.

Problem is not reproduced when using VS Code Debugger.

It becomes extremely slow scaled by the times .Include() is called.

My Debugger Config:

No breakpoint set.

Build Config:

Environments:

OSX High Sierra

<TargetFramework>netcoreapp2.0</TargetFramework>
<PackageReference Include="Microsoft.EntityFrameworkCore.Design" Version="2.1.0-preview1-final" />
<PackageReference Include="JetBrains.Annotations" Version="11.1.0" />
<PackageReference Include="Npgsql.EntityFrameworkCore.PostgreSQL" Version="2.1.0-preview1" />

Hello,

Thanks for your feedback. What Rider do you use (Help -> About)? Could you check if the issue reproduces on the latest EAP build? https://www.jetbrains.com/rider/eap/
