Retain latest valid value on Autocomplete

Hello! I very recently changed from Visual studio, and while I'm enjoying a lot of Rider's features, I'm missing some fundamental ones from VS..

For example, when I mispell something, the autocomplete box fades completely, and I'm not able to enable it by pressing backspace either..

I spent 4 hours today trying to find any of these settings(brute-searching and googling) without any luck.
