.NET Core 2.0 Support

With the somewhat suprising release of .NET Core 2, is there any update on when support will officially come to Rider, either in an EAP or general release?
I was happy that there is alternative to VS, but this exampe shows that it will be difficult to forget about VS. I have to migrate to .NET Core 2 and hello VS again.
I upgraded .NET core 1.1 from my machine to .NET Cor 2.0 and suddenly Rider is confused. It cannot detect .NET Core 2.0 installation. This is frustrating.
It is so frustrating to see Rider doesn't support .Net Core 2.0. I love jetbrains products so I want to use Rider instead of VS, but there are that kind of issues that keeps people from using it. I hope it will compete well with VS.
I like Rider, and would be interested in switching to it. But if you intend to be a serious competitor to VS, and expect people to shell out a serious amount of money for it, day 1 support for new versions has to be there.
