Xamarin support

Completed

I am absolutely in love with the JetBrains IDEs. Coming from a ObjC background using AppCode, I recently had to switch to Xamarin Studio (I am using a Mac) to build cross-platform apps using C#. There is really nothing more to say than: Please, free us from the pain of using Xamarin Studio.

Agreed. Xamarin Studio is painful to use and is the only thing I do in .NET. I'd love to use Rider instead of Studio. Short of full support, perhaps some additional information on configuring Rider to work in environments of this sort.

To at least be able to open and edit Xamarin projects within Rider,, see my comment on the General support thread.

THIS

Xamarin Support would be awesome in Rider!

1+ from me. It seems like Xamarin are mainly interested in the Visual Studio experience. Xamarin Studio is 'okay' but it lacks polish and I don't see it improving significantly anytime soon.

I would absolutely love to see Xamarin Support, I use VS2015 for it right now and its slow and clunky.

Adding that will greatly increase the chance of me buying Rider once it's out of EAP

As a long-term IntelliJ user, it's a severe headache to use Visual Studio, with Xamarin support this would add to the list of reasons to change my subscription.
