Hello!

Could you please tell me, the Close button just doesn't react? Is Rider freezes?

Could you please collect a TreadDumps as described in this article. Please attach them to a new support request. Thank you in advance!

Best Regards,

Alexandra

JetBrains Rider 2021.2.2 and I have the same problem. While coding, the CPU usages run up to 300%+ even though nothing is happening. After I "Quit" the solution, Rider stays active on the tray and keeps chewing up the 300% when there is nothing to analyze. Maybe it is indexing a whole bunch of stuff? I just don't know and I don't know how long it will go on. Fan on Macbook Air is going and going. The only way is to Force Quit. If you don't Force Quit, Rider stays around.

The same problem. JetBrains Rider 2022.1.2, cannot quit directly. Have you resolve it?

Hello Vintsingle,

We fixed plenty of bugs, including those, that might lead to similar issues. Would you mind trying the latest available version of Rider 2022.2 Beta and letting me know if the issue is reproducible?

Thank you in advance!

Thanks, but I have resolve it, I find that caused by the background task (Updating Index) is running forever, I delete JetBrains's caches folder and restart Rider, it's back to normal.
