How can I do web deploy with rider?

Answered

I have a few c# applications on .NET framework 4.7.1

On visual studio, I can use Web Deploy to deploy my application to a remote IIS server.

How can I do that with rider? What would I need to do?

Thanks

Hello! Thank you for the question. Please try using "Publish to Custom Server" run configuration and let me know if it does not help.

Hello.
Unfortunately, publishing for classic ASP.NET project has not been supported yet. Here is a ticket.

For publishing classic ASP.NET projects, the Build | Package Solution menu can generate a deployment package in the form of a .zip file, which can then be deployed using the MSDeploy command line.
