Rider / Unity - Inspections are off for newly created .cs files.

Unity 2019.2.9f1

JetBrains Rider 2019.2.3
Build #RD-192.7317.11, built on October 16, 2019
Runtime version: 11.0.4+10-b304.77 amd64
VM: OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM by JetBrains s.r.o
Windows 10 10.0

Been working on this project for long time, but since yesterday I have been having this problem that newly added CS files are not inspected either MonoBehaviour nor ScriptableObjects. Unity is compiling them without problem.

Tried deleting configurations, installing again etc... don't seem to make any difference. Didn't change any setting on Unity side.

Any clue?

Thanks

Here are some screenshots.

This is a previous file:

This is the file that's not recognized:

As you can see there is a Highlighting difference and when I try to use autocomplete on this file it doesn't work.

Just Installed VC Community edition 2019 and there is no problem there, it detects everything right. So I can discard Unity.

Hello Esteban,

Could you please check if you can observe the same issue with non-Unity solution, like simple console application? Did issue start after installing Rider 19.2.3? Have you tried to restart the Rider? Looking forward to hearing from you.

Olga, Hi.

After using VS for the project... I tried and changed for Rider again and everything is working as expected... don't really know why this happened, maybe the project file was corrupted somehow after the last upgrade?

It lsounds like for some reason Deamon stopped working and did not start correctly. If you face the issue again, check it in the upper right corner of editor tab:

If it stops working again, then please enable Trace scenario for Deamon and collect the logs with Help | Compress logs and show in explorer and send us the resulting log bundle. Let me know if you have other questions.

Happened again... will enable trace scenarios and then invalidate cache and restart to see what happens.

How to send the logs?
