Delete All files before publishing

Answered

Hello,

In Visual Studio we have an option similar to the below image where when the publishing, the system deletes all files and then publish.

How I configure the similar in a rider? because currently, I have to go to the folder manually and delete all files and then publish. I checked the before launch option but did not found any option.

I am using following rider version:

JetBrains Rider 2019.3.1
Build #RD-193.5662.14, built on December 20, 2019
Runtime version: 11.0.5+10-b520.17 amd64
VM: OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM by JetBrains s.r.o
Windows 10 10.0
GC: ParNew, ConcurrentMarkSweep
Memory: 1450M
Cores: 8

Hello,

At the current moment, there is no such option in Rider, so I have created a corresponding feature request: RIDER-38272, please upvote and watch for monitoring the status.

You could use a 'Run Native executable' as part of the build and use RM (OSX) or DEL (Windows).

It would be great if you could env variables such as ProjectDir instead absolute paths though
