Sass File Watcher doesn't update the file in IDE so my LiveEdit doesn't work

I have created a File Watcher to compile .scss to .css using the https://www.jetbrains.com/help/rider/Transpiling_SASS_LESS_and_SCSS_to_CSS.html#ws_less_installation guide, which does create/update .css files on file system, and file is picked up by the web page on reload/refresh. But I want to have Live Edit also, and it doesn't work with these compiled files, probably because they don't get updated in IDE after compilation, i.e. the same file has different content on the file system and the IDE.

In Live Edit I've tried checking "Track changes in files compiled to Javascript, Html and CSS. Didn't help.

Also tried using the plugin, but it didn't work neither.

Could you please provide a sample project and exact steps to reproduce the issue? Do you change css files directly while live-editing?

When I use plain css files, Live Edit works without issues. If I edit css files that were generated from scss, I will usually need to enter the change twice because the first time it auto reverts to old value, but second time it lets me save. And when I use scss files to edit, it either completely ignores my edits or, sometimes, I have to save file twice for change to register.

Solution discovered

Using the responses at https://intellij-support.jetbrains.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/207031845-Compass-Watcher-Live-Edit
I decided to add $FileDir$ to output refresh path and it started updating css file immediately
