Edit & Continue stopped working

Don't know why or what caused it to stop working, but after applying the changes debugger still uses the previous source file, as indicated by this message
It worked great for a while, but for the past two weeks I have to rerun the solution and wait for the build + IIS Express to start.
Does anyone know what could have caused this?
Using Rider 2020.2

Hello, in order to investigate the issue we would need to have a more specific example for a try to reproduction on our side and the logs. Please provide a screen recording showing the issue and full log bundle collected via Help | Collect logs. Attach it with a new issue on our public tracker. Thank you in advance!
