Evaluating expressions fails because the type is defined in two assemblies

The first snapshot below shows the error message shown after selecting an expression and pressing Ctrl+Alt+F8 for a quick evaluation. The same error appears trying to evaluate the same expression in the Immediate window and in the Evaluate dialog box.

The second snapshot shows that the evaluation works if the useless redundant qualifier is specified.

Is this the correct behavior?

Is there a setting that can fix this behavior?

Looking at the RevitAPI and RevitAPIUI assemblies in the explorer panel, I could find UV in the former, not in the latter. But I couldn't find any search option... is there the equivalent of the Visual Studio Object Browser in Rider?

Hi,

It seems to be the same issue as reported here: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/RIDER-56125

Hi Sofia,

Your link returns a 404 non existing page to me.

It is either broken or only valid for JetBrains accounts.

Accessing that page is not important to me, but I would like to know if there are plans to fix it and in what timeframe.

Thanks, Stefano

Funny, now that you gave me a second link, the first one works and the second doesn't!

I agree, the two problems are very likely related.

Fixed the second one.
