FormerlySerializedAs as added automatically when renaming from hint, even though I have it set to show confirmation popup for each case
This is a followup to this old question.
I have “Serialized field refactoring settings: Show confirmation popup for each case" set, because sometimes adding FormerlySerializedAs is desired, sometimes it isn't. This works fine when I do Rename from the menu manually. But when there is a hint to rename (like for naming rule violations), if I accept the suggestion it just always adds FormerlySerializedAs without any popup. If I set the setting to Never that does work correctly, but I would prefer it asked me every time. Is this a bug?

Which version of Rider do you use? Could you please check in the latest Rider 2025.2?
We have a similar report, but it seems to work in the latest versions: RIDER-127372 Rename refactor popup for serialized fields is broken.

I am on 2026.1.1, but I think this issue has been there for quite a while.
Unlike the report you linked, the window does show up for me if I manually Rename though.
