Filter Search Everywhere (CTRL+T) Results to Exclude Certain Projects?

I wanted to filter out certain projects in my solution when using Search Everywhere. I thought including it under Elements to Skip (File -> Settings -> Inspection Settings -> Elements to Skip -> Files and folders) would to the trick but didn't.

Is there a way I can do this?

Hi,

The setting you configured affects only Code Inspections: https://www.jetbrains.com/help/rider/Settings_Inspection_Settings.html.

As far as I know there is no way to projects filter options search everywhere. You can only exclude the project from your solution, then it will not be indexed and search everywhere will not touch it.

Please upvote the feature request for that https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/RIDER-69527.

Also, maybe it is worth using Find in Path search engine and configure scope for it (https://www.jetbrains.com/help/rider/Finding_and_Replacing_Text_in_Project.html#find_all)?
