Is there a way of simplifying the debugging on remote machines?

Today, when doing a remote debug session, you need to deploy the package to a host over SFTP, then run the package on the remote host, and then attach to the process - when repeating this several times, this is a bit cumbersome..

Is there anything in the works, or is it possible to have a one click experience? (Where the package is sent to the remote debugger, started, and automatically attached)?
