Hide options from upper toolbar Follow
Hi
How to customize the upper "toolbar" buttons (at least that's what is called in Visual Studio), what I mean by toolbar is this:
I want to hide the Perforce tools because I never use them from there.
Every time I google about this, it shows me how to configure the main menu, which is NOT what I want:
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Try removing `Preferences | Appearance & Behavior | Menus and Toolbars` -> Main Toolbar -> MainToolBarSettings -> VCS Actions.

Sorry for the late response.
But unfortunately that did not solve the problem.
Hi,
Could you please create screenshots so that I can see the settings state and the tool bar state at the same time?

Here is the settings option that you requested to remove (the red number 1), I deleted the whole MainToolBarSettings folder.
By the way I updated Rider to version 2021.3.2 recently so the previous screenshots maybe little different from the current one but the problem stills the same.
Hi,
The thing is that the second screenshot shows the new toolbar UI which cannot be changed at the moment (https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/RIDER-70047).
If you switch to the classic toolbar, then you will be able to remove VCS actions from it.
To switch to classic toolbar call `Vew | Appearance | Toolbar classic`.

I guess I'll wait for the customization of the new toolbar.
Thank you.
