dotnet 6 does not appear in TargetedFrameworks

Hi,

Maybe this is naive but, I have a ASP.NET Web Application project, initially written for .NET Framework v4.7, or so. I'm running Rider in macOS with .NET 6 installed,  and MSBuild set from the .NET 6 installation.

Is it possible for me to just give it a try a change the targeted framework from old .NET Framework to .NET 6?

For some reason, editing the .csjproj in visual mode doesn't really show any other option than .NET Framework:

Hi Dan Stoian

What Rider version do you use? Could you please attach your .csproj file? You can upload it to our server

Hi Dan Stoian

Sorry for misleading you. You need to migrate your project from .net Framework to .Net6. It is not possible to change the target framework like this because there are different templates of .csproj.
