containerd using Rider on MacOS?
Answered
I'm using containerd / nerdctl and Rancher Desktop as an alternative to Docker Desktop on MacOS. I'm getting the following error message in Preferences / Docker, clicking +, and leaving the "Docker for Mac" radio button to be selected.
Cannot connect: Cannot connect to the Docker daemon at unix:///var/run/docker.sock. Is the docker daemon running? (Details: [2] No such file or directory)
Does anyone know if this configuration will work?

Which version of Rider do you have? It should be fixed in the latest version: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-287703
