Could you please attach a screenshot of your file watcher settings? Also, you can enable "Show console > Always" to check if the file watcher works on Save or if there is an error.

Is this package included in node_modules? What does your package.json look like? Does it happen only on one project?

It's not supported for complex cases (components with lifecycle methods, instance methods, etc.).

'a term expected' is not an inspection, it's an error of the CSS parser. You cannot disable the parsing of a particular CSS file.
