Eric - that doesn't open multiple instances. It opens multiple windows that display different projects, but all are within the same instance of Rider. This is most easily seen when one of the win...

I started having exactly the same problem yesterday. An application that ran fine in Rider previously suddenly stopped working yesterday.

@Christoph Rüegg - You almost certainly have not been opening multiple instances of Rider. Jetbrains admits that it's not possible without elaborate workarounds, like having multiple installations...

I did change the configuration. But, as stated in my previous post, I've not had to do this previously. This installation of Rider/IdeaVim is the first time the conflict has been there.
