Roadmap or Release Date

You know Q2 is almost up right? I ran into a lot of stability issues on EAP last night on Mac, so I think there must still be some work to do.

I can't wait to find out when will Rider be out. I'm postponing a pet project of mine because I really, really don't want to work with Visual Studio.

Look at the issue tracker, there are some bugs will be fixed in build EAP 24 (haven't seen EAP 25). There's one EAP per month, which means we might meet another EAP in July, if there's no EAP 25, we might see the release in August or September. Close! Cheers up, JetBrains!

Looks my guessing is 90% correct.

1. The version label of EAP 24 is BETA, that's very exciting!
2. There's no more EAP version (such as EAP 25) in the bug tracker.
3. The label of next version is "2017.1 RC" which is more exciting.
4. If RC1 release in August, RC2 release in September, we will see the final release in October.
5. If RC1 release in July and no need for RC2, we will see the final release in August.

The RC is there! Congratulations! Since I'm a trainer, I created a video about DFS/Backtracking without recursion with Rider RC. It works pretty well. In the bug tracking list, I didn't see the version "2017.1 RC2" and there's "2017.1 RTM" and "2017.1.1 EAP1". Sounds we might see the RTM in August.
