Implicit evaliation disabled in Watch Window

My custom watched are not being implicitly eveluated in the Watch Window.

What's preventing implicit evaluation?

I just came here to ask that very question!
I have the same problem. Implicit evaluation is enabled in the options yet it doesn't work in debugger.
It's been a few months... any admins here?
After updating Rider, I had the same problem. I enabled this and everything came back to normal.

First of all, our apologies for being silent. Unfortunately, we cannot reproduce the issue on our side. If there is anyone for whom enabling 'Allow property evaluations and other implicit functions call' option doesn't help, please let me know, or add a comment to RIDER-12800. Thank you!
This seems to be fixed. I just tried it and the problem is gone.
I'm having this issue when mouse over'ing variables when running on Ubuntu.
I attempted to uncheck and recheck the 'Allow property evaluations..."
No joy.

Could you please make sure you are running the latest available Rider, reproduce the issue, collect the logs and send them here or create a new issue on bug tracker and attach logs to it. Thank you in advance!
