Restore Default Layout
Followed by 4 people
I recently lost that Toolbar item in Rider where you select which project to run and configurations for it. I finally found it again, but it is now on the left hand side above solution explorer. This happened when I was using Zen mode 😡 Not so zen.
I'd like all the windows and toolbars to be laid out the wat it was when I first installed Rider.
I have tried to select Restore Default Layout from the Windows menu, but that appears to be a no-op (it does nothing).
Can anyone help. Is there the equivalent of a factory reset?
Visual Studio lets you store window/dock configurations and makes it easy to return to. I can't find the equivalent in Rider.

Hello D Rogers,
Thank you for reaching Rider Forum.
To restore default ToolBar placements, please go to Settings/Preferences | Appearance & Behavior | Menus and Toolbars - Restore All Defaults:
Please inform me of the result.
Hi, That button does not even appear active on my version of Rider. It is greyed out.
Hello D Rogers,
Could you please share screen-shot of the tool bars, which are set incorrectly for you now?
Thank you in advance!
That option is greyed out for me as well.
Landon Lopez This option is intentionally disabled if there are no any layout customizations. Are you sure you have customized the toolbar layouts? Can you show the screenshot of your customizations?
