How to prevent suggestion popup list from trashing the inline completions (Github Copilot)

Hi,

does anyone have any tip on how to prevent Rider from trashing inline suggestion when the suggestion list widget opens? I initially thought this was issue on Github Copilot plugin side but I am starting to get convinced it's a Rider issue.

As you can see on the video, the suggestions often disappear when the suggestion list widget appears, but then re-appear of I continue typing or if I backspace one character. It's super random. Some words do not disappear as I continue typing the incomplete suggestion while other words do.

It is clearly possible to have both inline suggestion and suggestion list present both at the same time, so I can't understand why the action of opening the suggestion list has to delete the active inline suggestion, just to show it couple of characters down the line or when I delete one of them.

In the practical day to day workflow it's really uncomfortable because it just feels like everything is flickering and moving around randomly. 

I found some beta option called Synchronize inline and popup completions, but all it did was make things worse. It simply just reduced the rate at which Copilot completions appear, but did nothing other than that.

All I want is following: The inline suggestion should not disappear for as long as I do not explicitly select any item from the suggestion popup list. The presence/visibility of the suggestion popup list should simply have no effect on whether the inline suggestion is visible or not.

In the current state, the visibility of the inline suggestion just randomly flickers in and out of existence when the suggestion popup list is visible.
