Rider Update behaviour

I recently realized that I hadn't seen a Rider update in a while so I decided to check manually and got a popup that 2024.1.7 is available, I'm currently running 2024.1.2. I went to the other versions page of Rider Download and I see that there have actually been tons of updates since, but they are all sectioned based on Major releases (the first 2 numbers in the version), and I'm only seeing the latest update for that particular batch. Is this a bug or expected behaviour? I can't see any settings about this, and it's a bit annoying if I have to keep checking the website for new releases.

The behavior inside the Rider is correct. Thus, to follow the latest updates and set required behavior for them, we recommend using the ToolBox application. It will. help you to: 

  • Install;
  • Update automatically;
  • Update the plugins together with IDE;
  • Roll back and downgrade;
