How to access Rider with the Non-Commercial Use - license for hobby devs?

Hello,

since last year, Rider can be used for free for non-commércial use, even if you are not a student, but a hobby dev, like me.

When I install Rider, it asks me how I want to use it and one of the options is:

“Non-Commercial Use, Free for: Learning and education, Content Creation, Open-Source and hobby development”

Then I have to log in for Non-Commercial Use and after I did that a new website appears where it says:

No Available Licenses

We found no JetBrains product licenses associated with your JetBrains Account. You can:

So, there is no option matching the non-commercial use. Can someone please tell me how to get it running free, non-commercially?

Thank you very much!

Can you share a screenshot of the Rider [Help > Register...] screen? It should help us with further troubleshooting.

Hello,

thank you very much for your response.

do you mean this with a screenshot of Rider? Because I didn't get any further. Since I already had a JetBrains account, I don't think that another registration should be necessary, or?

Yes, I meant this screen. But can you log in (the “Log In for Non-Commercial Use” button) and share another screenshot? You don't need to create an account, but you will have to log in.

Sorry for the delay.

Now it worked. Not sure what I have done different or what changed. Before, when I clicked the button and logged in on the website, the app didn't react or seemed to recognize.

But now it did and I can use it.

Thank you very much!
