F# editor does not respond to enter

Answered

Rider version
Version: 2025.3.3
Build: 253.31033.136

Rider is unusable at the moment and it forces me to go back to Visual Studio.

My cursor can be anywhere in an .fs file. Pressing Enter does nothing, if I press it 5 times, it still does nothing. But if I press some other button like “a” or “b” then everything I just did happens at once. It's as if it's buffering the input and then flushes as soon as it encounters a keypress that is not Enter.

A .json file in the same project works just fine. An .md file also works fine. All my C# projects are unaffected.

Could anyone please suggest how I could solve this problem?
Thanks
