Claude stuck in authentication loop since latest update.

Since the newest update of Rider (2026.1.1) I'm unable to use the AI.  It cycles through trying to authenticate, restarting Claude, and authenticating again.  Even clicking the Stop won't end the issue.

Hi,

This is a known issue after a recent Claude Agent update, and it is tracked here: LLM-27896 Claude agent requires authorization in infinite loop

You can resolve it by updating the Claude Agent through the ACP Registry inside the IDE:

  1. Go to Settings | Tools | AI Assistant | Agents
  2. Find Claude Agent and update it to the latest version
  3. Restart Rider
  4. Start a new chat
