Android UI Designer

Even though it uses Xamarin to compile and bundle C# code to Android apks it still uses the UI description language of native Android (if not using Xamarin Forms). As of this wouldn't it be possible to share the Android UI designer between the Android Studio / IntelliJ and Rider to preview the views (*.axml) graphically?
